During a commanding performance, the English national team wrapped up a further triumph versus Albania, featuring a number of squad members turning in memorable displays throughout the game.

Starting XI

The goalkeeper Not a save required during the opening 45 before tested by an opponent's curled attempt. His sliding tackle on Qazim Laci demonstrated excellent reading of the game. Six out of ten

The debutant Examined against Albania’s main danger in Hoxha. Played through the middle early on but moved to the flank after a teammate entered the fray. 7

John Stones Advanced up the pitch with the ball at his feet, as he has done in the past. At times was too casual in possession with the experiment discontinued at half-time. 6

Dan Burn A constant threat at set pieces, typically, but may be a replacement to Stones in defense as opposed to his partner. A careless distribution in the second half almost led to the first goal for Albania. 6

Nico O’Reilly One more composed display from the 20-year-old following his debut against Serbia. A teammate did not capitalize on full advantage of a gorgeous flick behind the Albania defence. His position is his to lose already. 7

The newcomer His first start with the national team. Slightly loose in possession however his whipped set-pieces posed a danger. A handy game manager available to the manager to have versus sides that sit back. Shown a yellow for a poorly timed foul. Six

The midfielder Crosses on corner kicks and free-kicks created chances. Enjoyed freedom to drift in left midfield but was in an offside position upon receiving in front of goal. Awarded a well-earned substitution after an hour. 6/10

Jude Bellingham Operated in a high spot on the right while also put in the hard yards. Displayed moments of class and mishit an effort wide. Withdrawn in the closing stages for a teammate, his competition, after being booked. 7

The winger Was presented with England’s best chance before halftime, his shot excellently kept out by the Albanian keeper. With a teammate holding position, it fell to him to stretch the play on the right although his balls from the touchline were hit and miss. Taken off with 15 to go. 6

The captain The decisive figure netting two more goals at international level. The first a trademark opportunist's goal and his next a superb headed goal following a clever run away from the opposition. Aged 32, he’s only getting better and the side are strong contenders in the upcoming tournament with him up top. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to get into the game on the left flank. Was presented with a good opening when set up by the midfielder yet the keeper kept it out. Rashford made much more of effect after coming on. Five
