Los Angeles experienced widespread festivities after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Supporters across the globe joined local residents in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a franchise has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Local celebrations featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage show thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the masses, raising the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
